About the plastics

PC (polycarbonate) is widely used for security glazing on municipal sites such as bus shelters.
PVC or Perspex are not recommended (PVC goes cloudy in sunlight. Perspex is not as shatter resistant as PC).

Installation

Clean out the broken window while keeping any retaining frame to one side
Safety Note: broken windows can be sharp, wear heavy gloves
Squeeze a line of sealant along the bottom ledge of the window cavity
Put three or four dabs of sealant around the rest of the edges
Remove any protective film and press the new window into place
Replace any internal frame from the original window
